ABOUT US

We make a real difference
in lives by giving them homes.

Southwest Association Management is the community association division of Southwest Equity Partners, a San Diego–based management firm since 2006.

MISSION

At Southwest Association Management, we build stronger communities through responsive service, trusted relationships, and a commitment to making every resident feel at home.

VISION

To be known as the firm that reinvented community management in San Diego — the standard every other company is measured against — powered by a close-knit team committed to growing one another.

CORE VALUES

Five values, in the order we teach them

01

Grow on Purpose

We get better — as people first, professionals second. We read, train, certify, reflect, and take on what stretches us.

02

Tell the Truth Kindly

We are candid — respectful, direct, and unwilling to sugarcoat. Safety is what makes the truth possible.

03

Team Over Transaction

Clients, residents, and teammates are people we’re in relationship with — not simply tasks to complete. We show up for each other in joys and sorrows.

04

Anticipate, Don't React

We see it before the board has to ask. We anticipate reports to better serve our clients. Proactive communication is the difference between satisfaction and delight

05

Build the System, Then Trust It

Excellence is a process. We design the system, run the playbook, and improve it relentlessly.

Twenty years of sophisticated
experience with a superior team.

Southwest Equity Partners, Inc. was founded in 2006 and has managed San Diego property from 380 Stevens Avenue in Solana Beach ever since. Southwest Association Management is its community association division, and manages 28 communities and more than 3,300 units — all within San Diego County.

We specialize in condominium properties with more than 100 units and planned development communities with more than 300 homes — associations large enough to need real financial discipline, and close enough that a manager can be on site the same day.

Associations at that scale are badly served by a model that hands one manager a dozen properties and no support. We built the opposite: managers capped at six communities, three support staff behind each, in-house accounting, and financial reporting a volunteer can read.
